"Seven Days with Battery B" In a letter written on July 4, 1862, Sergeant John Fullerton described the fighting that took place during the Seven Days' Battles and the physical exhaustion felt by the men in his battery. "Premonition of Death" In a letter written on September 6, 1862, Joseph W. Hennon stated that he has witnessed the deaths of several of his fellow soldiers and believed that he would be the next to fall. Eight days after writing this letter, Hennon was mortally wounded at the battle of South Mountain. "Carte-De-Visite Photography" This episode looks at mid 19th century photography with emphasis on the most popular form of photography, the carte-de-visite.
